5:30PM ARRIVAL
UPON ARRIVAL:
*All dancers will have a NEW headshot taken the day of their audition for promotional purposes. (This is not the same as the headshot you are required to submit when you registered)
*Wear proper dance attire! Please dress how you would attend a professional contemporary/ jazz class.
PLEASE NOTE:
*ALL DANCERS NEED TO SUBMIT A HEADSHOT PRIOR TO AUDITIONS (Your headshot doesn't have to be fancy... it is just another way for us to remember you!
*ALL DANCERS ARE REQUIRED TO AUDITION FROM 6:00-7:30PM
*SOLO AUDITION FROM 7:30-8:00PM (registered dancers only)
Prepare a self choreographed well rehearsed solo piece to the song “Fix You” by Coldplay **SOLOISTS…PLEASE ONLY CHOREOGRAPH TO THE FIRST MINUTE OF THE SONG**
*If you successfully audition and are accepted to join “The Painter”, you will be charged a $100 entrance fee. This fee covers costumes, rehearsal space rental, props, paint, time, etc.
*We can’t wait to see you! Don’t forget to smile big, let your heart shine and have fun :)
PRACTICES + PERFORMANCE
We are beyond excited to have been accepted to perform in 3 performances this year! Practices for our show will be held on most Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the summer (2 days a week). Practice days and times will be made clear after auditions.
It is mandatory to attend dress rehearsal at School of the Arts the week of September 11th at 5PM
The Rochester Fringe Festival performance dates at School of The Arts are scheduled for Thursday, September 14TH @ 8PM, Friday September 15TH @ 8PM and Sunday, September 17th @ 4PM.
You will only be accepted if you are available to perform on ALL of these Fringe dates.
